Aryan’s 10 Retakes Spark Bobby Deol-SRK Clash

Bobby Deol will be seen with Lakshya and Sahher Bamba in The Bads of Bollywood*, which marks Aryan Khan’s first film as a director.

The preview event for SRK’s son first web series, The Ba*ds of Bollywood, turned into a star-studded celebration. The launch took place on Wednesday at YRF Studios in Mumbai. Shah Rukh Khan took charge as the host for the evening, while Gauri Khan, who is also the show’s producer, joined him on stage. Before inviting him to make his big stage appearance, Shah Rukh warmly introduced the entire cast of the series, which included his longtime friend, actor Bobby Deol.

Bobby Deol praises Aryan

After Shah Rukh Khan invited Bobby Deol on stage, the actor praised Aryan Khan as a director. Bobby said that it is never easy to show on screen the emotions written on paper, but he has done it beautifully. He added that Aryan has brought out the best in every actor, whether they play mature roles or younger ones.

After praising SRK’s son direction, Bobby Deol jokingly shared a small “complaint” about his style on set. He said that Aryan pushed the actors to work really hard and often asked for multiple retakes. “He really drained us with the effort he made us put in. Every time he said, ‘one more,’ I would smile and agree. At first, I thought maybe he’d stop after a few takes, but his ‘one more’ never seemed to end,” Bobby said with a laugh.

Shah Rukh Khan Shares Funny Call from Bobby About his son

At the launch event, Shah Rukh Khan revealed a funny incident about his son Aryan’s direction style. He said that one night Bobby Deol even called him. Bobby told him, “Yaar, come here quickly. Aryan is making me do too many retakes. I have to leave but he isn’t letting me go!”

Shah Rukh shared this story with a smile, showing how hardworking and perfectionist Aryan is as a director, and how Bobby handled it with humor.
